The work included installation of multiple utility systems supporting long-term operations within a sensitive and highly regulated environment.

Project Highlights

  • Installation of approximately 5 miles of 12” HDPE water transmission main

  • Installation of 8” HDPE water distribution main

  • Construction of 8” PVC gravity sewer and 4” HDPE pressure sewer

  • Utility installation coordinated with:

    • A new wastewater treatment plant

    • Pump station

    • Concrete water storage tank constructed by RSCI (Boise, Idaho)

  • Work completed over multiple seasons to meet environmental and operational constraints within the park

This project reflects Westwood Curtis Construction’s experience delivering large-scale utility infrastructure in environmentally sensitive locations while coordinating with multiple contractors and agencies.

South Pass Water Tank

In 2013, Westwood Curtis Construction installed a 10,000-gallon fiberglass Flowtite water storage tank for WYDOT at the South Pass facility. Due to the tank serving as the sole water source for the site, the project required precise coordination and an accelerated schedule.

Project Highlights

  • Removal of an existing steel water storage tank

  • Installation of a 10,000-gallon fiberglass Flowtite tank

  • Replacement of associated piping

  • Backfill and site restoration

  • Complete tank replacement performed in three days

  • Installation completed by Containment Solutions–certified personnel

This project demonstrates Westwood Curtis Construction’s ability to execute time-sensitive infrastructure work while maintaining service continuity and meeting strict operational requirements.
