GTNP Water Transmission & Utilities

Between Fall 2016 and Spring 2019, Westwood Curtis Construction completed a major water and wastewater infrastructure project within Grand Teton National Park. The work included installation of multiple utility systems supporting long-term operations within a sensitive and highly regulated environment.

Project Highlights

  • Installation of approximately 5 miles of 12” HDPE water transmission main

  • Installation of 8” HDPE water distribution main

  • Construction of 8” PVC gravity sewer and 4” HDPE pressure sewer

  • Utility installation coordinated with:

    • A new wastewater treatment plant

    • Pump station

    • Concrete water storage tank constructed by RSCI (Boise, Idaho)

  • Work completed over multiple seasons to meet environmental and operational constraints within the park

This project reflects Westwood Curtis Construction’s experience delivering large-scale utility infrastructure in environmentally sensitive locations while coordinating with multiple contractors and agencies.
