GTNP Water Transmission & Utilities
Between Fall 2016 and Spring 2019, Westwood Curtis Construction completed a major water and wastewater infrastructure project within Grand Teton National Park. The work included installation of multiple utility systems supporting long-term operations within a sensitive and highly regulated environment.
Project Highlights
Installation of approximately 5 miles of 12” HDPE water transmission main
Installation of 8” HDPE water distribution main
Construction of 8” PVC gravity sewer and 4” HDPE pressure sewer
Utility installation coordinated with:
A new wastewater treatment plant
Pump station
Concrete water storage tank constructed by RSCI (Boise, Idaho)
Work completed over multiple seasons to meet environmental and operational constraints within the park
This project reflects Westwood Curtis Construction’s experience delivering large-scale utility infrastructure in environmentally sensitive locations while coordinating with multiple contractors and agencies.
