FISH CREEK BRIDGE
Westwood Curtis Construction constructed a private bridge over Fish Creek in Wilson, Wyoming during the winter of 2019–2020. The project involved replacement of an existing wooden bridge with a new 82-foot steel bridge, requiring careful planning and execution in winter conditions and a sensitive environmental setting.
Project highlights include:
Demolition and removal of the existing wooden bridge
Construction of a new 82-foot steel bridge structure
Installation of cast-in-place concrete abutments and piers
Integration of steel H-piles driven into the creek
Winter construction completed prior to fish spawning season
Continuous dewatering and stream diversion maintained for nearly four months
This project reflects Westwood Curtis’s ability to execute complex bridge construction in challenging conditions while meeting environmental requirements and maintaining project timelines.
