PINE GLADES TUNNEL

Westwood Curtis Construction excavated and installed a 980-foot tunnel beneath Snow King Mountain Resort to provide access to a newly developed subdivision in Jackson, Wyoming. Due to an accelerated design timeline, Westwood Curtis was engaged early in the process to provide value engineering and construction planning support.

Project highlights include:

• Excavation and installation of a 980-foot tunnel beneath Snow King Mountain Resort

• Early involvement in value engineering to determine construction methods and feasibility

• Coordination on precast tunnel dimensions, sequencing, and scheduling

• Excavation reaching depths of up to 80 feet below existing grade
