Elk Refuge Irrigation Project

Westwood Curtis Construction completed large-scale irrigation infrastructure installation for the National Elk Refuge.

Project highlights include:

  • Installation of approximately 39,000 feet of HDPE irrigation pipeline

  • Pipe sizes ranging from 10” to 42” HDPE

  • Sidewall fusion of 68 laterals, drains, and vents

  • Installation of pressure reducing stations and steel pipe manifold

  • Work completed in extremely rocky terrain using specialized excavation techniques

Certified pipe welders and extended shifts allowed the project to be completed ahead of schedule despite challenging conditions.
